J'ai découvert James Blunt grâce à la Star Ac'....eh oui, personne n'est parfait
J'étais en train de coudre tout en écoutant vaguement l'émission, et j'ai entendu sa voix...
Et quelle voix particulière! J'ai levé la tête, j'ai regardé, je suis restée scotchée à ses yeux expressifs...Le bémol, c'est qu'il y avait à côté de lui un des apprentis chanteurs qui tentait d'exprimer quelque chose et qui n'y arrivait pas. Forcément, l'émotion que faisait passer James Blunt était tellement palpable, il faisait partager un moment très fort et le petit jeune n'avait sans doute jamais encore ressenti vraiment ce genre de sentiments, donc il s'est fait "bouffer" par la "présence" et l'interprétation magistrale du chanteur anglais.
Ensuite, par curiosité j'ai piqué le CD d'une copine de mon fils, j'ai aimé les autres chansons, mais j'avoue que c'est lorsque j'ai écouté et regardé le CD-DVD live que j'ai véritablemnt accroché: cet homme est fait pour la scène, il y est beaucoup plus à l'aise, plus touchant que dans les versions studio de ses chansons.C'est sur la scène qu'on se rend compte qu'il n'interprète pas une chanson: il EST la chanson!
En résumé, j'ai découvert ce chanteur un peu par hasard et il me surprend un peu plus chaque fois que je vois un de ses "live" sur le net. L'émotion est toujours là, et même sur des chansons qu'il a chantées très souvent comme Good Bye my Lover, c'est comme si c'était la première fois et son interprétation est toujours touchante. Quant aux nouvelles chansons qu'il a interprétées en concert et que j'ai vues sur le net (vive you tube! ), je les ai adorées! Une en particulier : "I Cant Hear The Music".
